Job description

Knack Studio – Savannah is looking for a patient GLASS STUDIO ASSISTANT to become a member of our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong interest in stained glass and a desire to hone their craft.

This role requires basic understanding of the stained glass process and terminology. If you’re eager and hardworking, we can teach the rest!

Role and Responsibilities

  • Cut, grind and organize glass for one-time classes

  • Responsible for general studio cleaning (mopping, wiping table tops/walls, grinders, studio tools and other equipment)

  • Manage sheet glass inventory weekly and communicate stock needs to management

  • Willingness to learn and take direction.

  • Able to multitask and be pro-active, can work without supervision.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong desire to learn is a MUST.

  • A knack for art/all things creative would be helpful but is not required.

  • General understanding of stained glass and studio equipment is required.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Schedule:

  • Part-Time

  • 3 hour shift (3hrs/wk)
